What is Smart Wiring?
This is the nervous system for the home. With the smart home wiring
system, consumers can add energy, lighting, security and entertainment
equipment in an integrated communicative system. "Home builders and consumers
alike are beginning to understand that residential wiring for technology is
the modern day equivalent of plumbing. If they want to run Internet,
entertainment, security and energy-saving systems throughout the home, they
have to install the 'pipeline' and 'faucets' to make it possible.

Service Center: This is the central distribution point or "pipeline" for the Smart Wiring system. It is the heart of the Wiring System and the component that makes future expansion possible. It is important to put the Service Center in an environmentally controlled area.

Inputs: This is the water that goes to the faucets. DSS, DVD, VCR, CD, Video Cameras, and Broadband including Internet. These devises can be configured through the service center to be broadcast to any television or wall outlet in the home, and music can be distributed to any room in the home and controlled from any room in the home.

Outputs: Where do you want to enjoy music, movies or Internet Access? Will it be from every room, or just your home office? Should you not be sure where you want the access to available technology, each outlet can be configured to accept all technologies available now and in the future.

Price vs. Cost
Opposed to conventional wiring the price of an advanced system could be more, however the overall cost is less when you consider the energy savings and lifestyle enhancements obtained through a Smart Wired system.

Existing Structures:
Most existing structures can be upgraded to accept new technology. The task is usually more challenging however the end result can be quite satisfactory.
